You didn't think Leonardo DiCaprio would get an ALS Ice Bucket Challenge nomination from David Beckham and just, like, cut a check in the privacy of his own yacht, did you? No chance.
Though he missed the 24-hour deadline, the actor made sure his challenge video was as epic as possible. Which is good of him, considering all the Titanic jokes this trend has inspired.
The video starts out with a cinematic shot of an island. It turns out that DiCaprio and his man bun have been chilling in Alberta, Canada, learning about the tar sands. Instead of his usual posse of Toni Garrn and Lukas Haas, the Wolf of Wall Street star is surrounded by the leaders from the First Nations and the president of Sierra Club. Because, guys, Leo is totally an environmentalist, remember?

Long story short, everyone gets dunked, Leo nominates Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper, the ALS Association gets a hefty donation, and nobody can get pissed about wasting water. Scorsese himself couldn't have it done better — though he might have added more blood.
