It's been an illuminating year for Molly Ringwald's 10-year-old daughter, Mathilda. A few months back the pre-teen got her first viewing of The Breakfast Club, which ended in tears. Now, she's coming to terms with her actress mom's Sixteen Candles fame.
While the most exciting thing to happen to most kids doing their back-to-school shopping is bumping into their crush or getting Mom to agree to glitter ink pens, Miss Mathilda had an exciting run-in with a blast from the past. Yeah, that's her pulling her best Brat Packer pose against a display featuring Mom's teenage self. Totally adorable. Totally spot-on.
