Pretty Much Everyone Is Covering Interview‘s September Issue

When it comes to the September issue, more is more. More advertising, more fashion, and, in the case of Interview, more cover stars.
The fashion and culture magazine tapped seven photographers to shoot six stunning A-listers (Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott worked together, per usual) for their September offering, fittingly dubbed the Photographers Issue. That adds up to six gorgeous covers and one hell of a decision to make the next time you hit the newsstand.
The six-pack offers a nice, non-controversial balance of both actresses and supermodels. Steven Klein snapped Nicole Kidman, Patrick Demarchelier worked with Keira Knightley, and Léa Seydoux posed for Peter Lindbergh.
On the model front, Mert & Marcus shot the Naomi Campbell cover, Mikael Jansson captured Daria Werbowy, and Amber Valletta partnered with Craig McDean. All of the covers were shot in black and white, save for Campbell's Balmain warrior princess shoot and the one featuring a Prada-clad Kidman lying prone while a man gnaws at her neck.
For more, pick up the September issue on September 2. No shame in buying all six.
