The Roaring Twenties are back — at least, they were this past weekend on Governor's Island. Nearly 5,000 guests dressed to the nines in their best Prohibition Era apparel — we're talking fringed dresses, cloche hats, and the works. Now, it's no surprise New Yorkers love a good excuse to dress up, but Michael Arenella's bi-annual Jazz Age Lawn Party is one of those events that really gets people going — thanks to a live band, tap dancers, and never-ending St. Germain cocktails (sorry, 21st Amendment). And, while the scene is actually all that (and more), the costumes are even more to write home about. Click through to see the outfits that brought the Jazz Age back to life.
