Lipstick devotees of the world, allow us to introduce you to the fall collection that will win an extra special place in your heart. NARS has released an assemblage of 40 lip shades, dubbed the Audacious Lipstick Collection, for fall '14, and they may be the prettiest things we've ever laid our eyes on. To make this lot even better, NARS tapped Charlotte Rampling to be the face of the launch.
The Audacious Lipstick Collection pays homage to founder and creative director François Nars' first-ever collection — a set of 12 lipsticks — which hit shelves 20 years ago. This new assortment of 40 (yes, 40) hues ranges from dusty lavender to moody merlot to bubblegum pink. Unlike typical fall collections, NARS didn't play favorites when it came to seasons — there are tubes in this collection that you can wear in the winter or spring. They're pigment-rich, full-coverage, and moisturizing, housed in sophisticated black cases.
All the shades will be available on September 1, but pay close attention. Most will hit the market at NARS boutiques and online, while a few select shades will be available only at Barneys. Consider this a lipstick treasure hunt.
