These mid-'90s staples are more normcore than avant-garde. However, the same cannot be said of the snow white Ellery stunner Mowry-Hardrict wore to the International Fashion Film Awards this week. The dress combined a low V-neck with brilliantly exaggerated bell sleeves; even though its elements were somewhat vintage-feeling, the overall look was decidedly modern. Tia's accessories added to the high-fashion vibe. Her dark nails and center-parted hair kept things stark, while her nude, strappy heels were the perfect non-shoe to let the rest of her look shine. She finished off the ensemble with a smokey eye and what looks like a metallic box clutch. It's no scrunchie, but hey, we're not complaining.
It's always great to see a celeb like Tia taking a fashion risk that really pays off. And, lucky for us, it seems like something was in the water this week as celebs like Zoe Saldana, Nicola Peltz, and Fan Bingbing followed suit.
