Following a three-decade-long break, the designer and Haskell Jewels are collaborating once again on a range of necklaces, earrings, bracelets, and rings, Women’s Wear Daily reports. The trade mentions knitted chains created from diamond-cut brass links, along with leather cuffs, and plenty of hot-pink.
“I really love jewelry that makes noise and makes a statement,” DVF, who also has a high-end line called Diane von Furstenberg by H.Stern, told the trade. She added, “People see me with a lot of jewelry, and I need to be able to make jewelry that people can afford that doesn’t compromise on the quality and design.” This range will be priced from $68 to $628.
Haskell chairman and CEO Frank Fialkoff would have us believe that his history with DVF is purely a professional one, but the straight-talking designer cut him off mid-interview with WWD to clear that right up. "Oh, we dated," she said, before steering the conversation back to the jewels. It's real talk only with this one. (WWD)
