From the founders of design studio HyperHyper comes Phhhoto, a brand spanking new social media platform that allows users to to capture moments and turn them into ultra-kinetic moving images with the click of a button. By way of a multi-frame camera, the free app animates photos to create the effect of a short movie.
Like Instagram, users can upload their creations, which can then be liked and commented on by other users. And, if you need proof of Phhhoto's impending ubiquity, check out some of its early adopters.
Katy Perry used Phhhoto to show off some smiley toe nail art, while Diplo took fans inside a twerky Miami nightclub. Even Entertainment Weekly joined the party, with a Phhhoto booth at last weekend's Comic-Con. Wesley Snipes, Jeff Bridges, and Daniel Radcliffe were just some of the celebrities who got in on the action.
