Watch The Entire ’90s Wrapped Up In One Hilarious Trailer

Wil Wheaton knows a thing or two about nostalgia. The former child star has earned a spot in the hearts of sci-fi fans everywhere thanks to his role as Wesley Crusher, the keen cadet from Star Trek: The Next Generation.
Now, as the host of SyFy's geek culture gabfest The Wil Wheaton Project, the 41-year-old actor mines '90s nostalgia and turns it into comedy gold. In this faux movie trailer, Wheaton harps on the the glut of movies based on '90s staples infiltrating the multiplexes as of late. Including Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, The Lego Movie, and the Transformers franchise, just to name a few. While Wheaton himself didn't grow up in the '90s, someone in his writing room clearly did. (But it's not just '90s stuff: Among the retro kitsch skewered in the clip are Alf, Lite Brite, bean bag chairs, and Teddy Ruxpin.)
We hate dating ourselves here, but let's just say watching this trailer made us a tad misty-eyed. A warning to all the other '90s babies about to press play: Kleenex is not included. But, you also don't have to be kind and press rewind. (The Huffington Post)
