In case you're not aware of what a "lame claim to fame" might be, Weird Al Yankovic is here to explain. According to his new video of the same name, it might be buying a second-hand toaster from a guy who says he knows Brad Pitt, or catching Jack Nicholson looking at you at a Lakers game. Or, you know, buying a car that used to belong to Cuba Gooding Jr.'s uncle.
The parody master's latest vid is from his new album Mandatory Fun. It's also the seventh one he's released in the last week as part of his #8videos8days campaign. He's already mocked Pharell's "Happy" and Lorde's "Royals," and now he's tackling the name-dropping culture of Hollywood. You know, where everyone has a story about their paltry brush with fame? Word to the wise: Don't be the guy with the lame claim to fame. But, do check out Weird Al's below video below, of course. (Gawker)
