Red today, gone tomorrow. Or, at least that is the mantra for one Rumer Willis. Yep, that's her up there, and she coyly showed off her new, blonde bob on Instagram. The actress seems to have lobbed her length off into a shoulder-grazing crop, and then took a spin in her colorist's chair.
While we're all for a hair change-up, as we've pointed out before, everyone in Hollywood seems to be running to the salon and chopping and coloring their length into a blonde bob. Sure, Rumer's is an asymmetrical take on the style, but it's still bob-inspired. So, the question is, has the bob finally hit its peak? When everyone's got the same hair style, it kind of loses its luster (see: the lob). So, could a new "it" crop be on the horizon for the fall?
We can't predict the future (unfortunately), but if we can throw a suggestion out there, we'd like to see more celebrities with even shorter styles, à la Kristen Stewart. Whatever the next wave of manes may be, we're going to enjoy the bobs while we got 'em. Rock on, Rumer.
