Last time we saw Lindsay Lohan working magical machinery, it was Herbie: Fully Loaded, not a souped-up DeLorean. But, don't doubt LiLo's talent for jumping back into the past. This weekend, Lindsay was strolling around London looking very similar to someone we once knew: Lindsay Lohan circa 2004.
Though it's been a while since we've seen her appearing as she did when Mean Girls was just a movie you'd seen once in the theaters, Lindsay wore an effortless, printed summer frock that reminded us of her young-starlet self from way back then. Actually, this casual, sweet outfit is one of our favorites she's worn in quite some time. Not only is the dress — an Urban Outfitters find — a quirky, polka-dotted pattern, but she's also accessorizing with a few high-fashion accoutrements like an oversized, Céline handbag and Louboutin sandals to complete her ensemble. Okay, she's also toting a cigarette, so it's not like we're loving everything going on here. But, altogether, the look captures both the fresh-faced, up-and-comer version and the sophisticated, with a bit more, err, life experience Lohan all at once.
We're all for Lindsay's lean toward a softer style approach, as well as the reminder of why we became fans of the auburn-haired actress in the first place, even if she didn't travel through time to achieve it.
