Miroslava Proves Petite Ladies Can Rock A Sandwich-Board Cape

When it comes to petite style, there's a fine line between an oversized silhouette and something that swallows you whole. Tailoring helps, and so does a little clever inspiration courtesy of one of the most fearless fashion personalities we know. One who stands tall at only five feet: Miroslava Duma.
The Buro 24/7 creator has been a staple at the couture shows over the past few days, as she is at most Fashion Weeks around the globe. And, just as ubiquitous were her large-proportioned capes. We've seen at least three different versions on Duma so far, with varying lengths and widths. But, while a massive overcoat like this may be dominating for a runway model, these actually look right at home on Mira's diminutive frame.

The trick comes down to how she wears the sleeveless, cocoon-like tops. Ahead, three examples that may just convince you to embrace oversized in a big way.

Seen here in a blanket cape, Mira uses super-slim jeans and nude pumps to define her figure and balance the part that's all covered up.

This cape is long, rectangular, and looks like Mira has cut the sleeves off of a T-shirt for a person five times her size. And, really, that's kind of what we love about it.
