It looks like Robert Pattinson isn't the only Twilight alum looking to shed their teeny-bopper skin. His former on- and offscreen flame Kristen Stewart has also been diversifying her portfolio with some edgier material that might leave her younger fans scratching their heads. After baring it all as a seductress in the grossly underrated On The Road, Stewart is once again making major waves thanks to a bold new performance. The movie is called Clouds of Sils Maria, and it made Stewart the talk of Cannes when it premiered earlier this year.
Directed by Olivier Assayas, this sinuous meta-narrative sees Stewart as the much younger assistant to an actress in the twilight of her career (Juliette Binoche). Based on this just-released international trailer, things get complicated when a hot young starlet (Chloë Grace Moretz) joins the fray. Manipulation, obsession, and betrayal are likely to ensue.
