Marge Simpson x MAC: These Pics Prove It's Not So Weird

When news first broke that MAC was releasing a Marge Simpson-themed collection, we'll admit that we spent some time scratching our heads. What the heck would this look like? Would it come with a blue beehive wig? Does anyone actually want to resemble Marge Simpson?

Well, we have the answer to that first question because MAC has finally given us a first look as well as some release details. The collection contains an eye palette, lip gloss, false eyelashes, and nail stickers, and each bottle and case is emblazoned with the Simpson matriarch's eyes and iconic azure hair. The entire assortment will include 10 pieces, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Now, we have to say, this is one good-looking collection. The shadow colors range from purple to blue to pink and appear semi-matte, and we could definitely see ourselves sporting them regularly.
But, that isn't the biggest news. For those who can't wait until September to get their hands on these goodies, MAC will be setting up a pop-up shop for one day only during San Diego Comic-Con. On July 26, attendees will have full access to the products in MAC's Gaslamp location.
However, those of us who can't get to Comic-Con can nab the Marge Simpson collection when it hits the web on August 28; it will also land in stores on September 4. We'll just have to tide ourselves over with a Simpsons marathon until then.
