Looking to get some fresh air this holiday weekend? Well, if the sweet breath of independence won’t cut it, Uber may have what you’re looking for.
On Thursday, July 3, between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m., the company will provide helicopter service for New Yorkers heading to the Hamptons for the weekend. As in, a private helicopter for you and up to four friends. Time to grab those Tom Cruise shades and prepare to get your international spy on.
Uber warns that demand is high and supply is low, but if you are one of the lucky few to secure a ‘copter, here’s how it works: you give Uber your address and Uber sends a car to pick you up and take you to the landing pad. Then, you hop in your chopper (!!!), fly away, and plot your government-mandated heist.
All for just $2,500. Ha!
