Miley Cyrus has never struck us as one to adhere to typical trends — or typical anything, for that matter. This goes double for her hair, apparently, as proven by her latest round of Instagram snaps. Miley kicked off the month by debuting her upgraded top knot, adorned with glittering barrettes and plastic dolls. Basically, it looks like every 8-year-old girl's jewelry box exploded onto her coiff.
Barrettes and sparkling clips aside, the doll is borderline creepy. Anyone else reminded of those tiny, plastic infants you'd see sprinkled atop cupcakes at baby showers? It also seems like Miley has added a little pink and purple to her hair to match the accessories that have taken residence in her updo.

Fortunately, a second photo of Miley's updo shows more clips — but no babies.
Listen, Miley doesn't care what everyone else thinks about her beauty looks — she does what she wants when she wants to do it. And, if that includes slapping some bedazzled clips and plastic figurines in her hair, she's going to go for it. We may not sport it ourselves, but hey, you own that rave-girl hair if you feel it, Miley. We'll chalk this up to another day of #justbeingmiley.
