As Arya Stark on Game of Thrones, Maisie Williams has learned a thing or two about survival. Whether it's been murderous henchmen or sniveling thieves, Williams knows how to handle herself against predators of every ilk. A couple of rabid hyenas? No sweat. A few psychotic rhino poachers? Puh-lease. Those are the threats that Williams faces in her feature film debut Heatstroke, in which she plays the precocious daughter of a scientist (Stephen Dorff). While on a research trip in Africa, the pair see something they shouldn't and are forced to fight for their lives as a result.
Williams is just the latest GoT cast member to take their talents to the big screen, following in the footsteps of Kit "Jon Snow" Harington and Emilia "Khaleesi" Clarke. Heatsroke will be available on VOD and in select theaters on July 4. Watch Williams do her thing in the film's first trailer below.
