Visible Roots Are Trendy If You Have Pastel Hair, Says Fashion

Half-and-half: It's no longer just for your morning coffee. According to Women's Wear Daily, one of the hippest hair trends of the moment is hair that's half pastel, half naturally colored.
Halfsies hair, as we're calling it, is pretty much the lazy girl's ombré: The two tones can be created by simply dying one's hair a pastel shade and then not redoing it once the roots grow in. Anything that takes a lazy beauty habit and makes it "trendy" is something we can get behind. But, if you're feeling extra motivated, WWD points out that this style also applies to dyeing one side of your hair, so the two tones exist on different halves of your head for an asymmetrical look that's like Cruella de Vil meets whimsical flower fairy.

The article notes that this is a style that can also be accomplished with hair chalk and doesn't work just for the hair on your head: Ciaté is coming out with mascara designed to add color to just the tips of the lashes. How flattering that will actually turn out remains to be seen.
In the meantime, we're really into this partially dyed look. It's a great way to get in on the trend without committing fully. What do you all think? (WWD)
