In an interview with Metro about Kruger's first rom-com, A Perfect Plan, the German beauty explained that she was romantic but practical, as well. "I'm not married and don’t intend to be, and I never believed in love at first sight, but I do believe opposites attract," she told the newspaper.
Kruger has been married before. In 2006, she ended her five-year marriage to Guillaume Canet. The French actor/director is now in a relationship with Marion Cotillard and the father of her young son.

Jackson and Kruger (who have been together for six years) may not be headed down the aisle, but their relationship is still going strong. Kruger revealed a recent romantic surprise she planned for Jackson while shooting A Perfect Plan in Africa.
"My partner was shooting a show in Vancouver," she said. "So, I flew from Kenya, via London, to Vancouver for 24 hours because we hadn’t seen each other in five weeks."
