Shailene Woodley’s New Film Is A Seriously Sexy Departure

If you're used to seeing Shailene Woodley tugging at your heartstrings, kicking butt in big-budget action flicks, or maybe waxing poetic on the benefits of eating clay, the movie clip below might be a little hard to swallow. (Not as hard to swallow as clay, but still.)

In this montage from the upcoming film White Bird in a Blizzard, the 22-year-old rocks crimped hair while making out here, there, and everywhere with onscreen boyfriend Shiloh Fernandez. Because, that's just what you do when Depeche Mode is playing.

The film, which received mixed reviews at this year's Sundance film festival, marks a departure from the YA-approved projects Woodley is known for. In her recent interview with New York, she acknowledged that The Fault In Our Stars would be her "last teenage movie." She also talked about getting naked in White Bird in a Blizzard.

"Everyone was freaked out because I'm nude, but in real life, when I have sex, I'm naked," she explained to New York. "I don't have a bra on, and I don't usually have panties on."

White Bird in a Blizzard will be released on iTunes and On Demand on September 25, and in theaters on October 24. This is not one for the kiddos. (Yahoo! Movies)
