Prepare yourselves, folks, because Chrissy Teigen and John Legend have just introduced the world to even more cuteness: The two have adopted a three-legged dog. The couple got wind that Penny, a nugget of a French bulldog, was the victim of abuse and in need of a forever home, so Legend flew to South Carolina to scoop up the family's new addition.
Teigen announced Penny's arrival on Twitter, saying, "NEW FAMILY MEMBER ALERT! She is our little tripod lovebug. Yes. She has 3 legs WHICH IS MORE THAN YOU OKAY." She added, "I won't get too into it but let's just say her first family were buttheads and we are happy to shower her with love for the rest of time!"
Since adopting the pup, both Chrissy and John have been blowing up their Instagram feeds with snaps of Penny, and it seems she's adjusting to her new life pretty darn well. She's even made friends with the couple's other dogs. Welcome to L.A., Penny. We think you'll like it.
