Elizabeth Olsen & Dakota Fanning Fight It Out In The Very Good Girls Trailer

If you need a respite from the summer-movie deluge of alien invasions and caped crusaders, look no further than Very Good Girls. The film stars Dakota Fanning and Elizabeth Olsen as two college-bound besties desperate to lose their virginity before they officially become freshmen.
Unfortunately, they end up falling for the same brooding ice-cream man (played by Olsen's real-life fiancé, Boyd Holbrook), and their friendship is pushed to the limit as a result. We've seen movies before about young women on a quest to lose their V-card — Aubrey Plaza's raunch-festThe To Do List comes to mind. But, director Naomi Foner seems to have crafted a far more provocative look at how young ladies deal with their blossoming sexuality.
The film premiered to raves at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival and has the chance to be one of the sleeper hits of the summer. Demi Moore, Clark Gregg, Ellen Barkin, Richard Dreyfuss, Kiernan Shipka, and Peter Sarsgaard round out one of the more stellar movie casts in recent memory. Very Good Girls hits theaters on July 25.
