We're heavy into high-heat season, folks. But, for some people like Mindy Kaling, the answer isn't a desperate updo — it's a full mane makeover. The Mindy Project actress and showrunner shared a snap of her new summer bob on Instagram yesterday, and it's (predictably) adorable.
The style isn't a full departure from Kaling's typical strands — we can't imagine hairstylist Clariss Rubenstein chopped off more than a couple of inches — but the effect is obvious. As Kaling so eloquently pointed out in her photo caption, this style is the cure for the common sweaty neck. And, just a quick cut of your locks can make this season a heck of a lot cooler, too. Plus, since the change isn't so drastic, we're sure Kaling's hair will be back to its typical length in just a few months. That's the closest to noncommittal cutting we've ever heard.
