There are only a handful of ways that one can realistically get their hair off of their neck when the temperatures get sweltering. After a while, it can feel like you're being asked to reinvent the wheel every time you pull your locks back. But, when we caught an eyeful of Olivia Munn's side bun at this weekend's Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic in New Jersey, the tried-and-true style looked all shiny and new.
Sure, Munn's style isn't exactly groundbreaking. It is, when you get down to it, a side bun. But, with a few slight tweaks, she was able to give this run-of-the-mill style a new lease on life.
Munn opted for a sleek side part, which added a touch of volume to her crown. And, instead of the typical low knot that's gathered at the side, she brought her twist up to ear level, making it instantly eye-catching. Not a huge change, but the balance of the side part and the high bun created a super-gorgeous look that we're itching to recreate. Plus, the genius of this style is that you can do it while your hair is wet, and once it's dry, you'll score some seriously rad waves. That's summer beauty at its finest, if you ask us.
