When it comes to summer actresses, Jennifer Lawrence reigns supreme.
The Wrap surveyed adults 18-49 to determine which of this year's crop of leading ladies is most beloved by audiences. Lawrence finished at the top of the list, with a 27 positive Q score, two points higher than her closest competitor, Melissa McCarthy. For those unfamiliar with a Q score, it's essentially a rating used by industry types to determine how likable or unlikable a celebrity is according to the public.
Well, the public has spoken. And, J Lawr is very, very likable.
Other actresses who ranked high on the list include Angelina Jolie and Rachel McAdams, who tied for third.

Coming in at the bottom end of the ranking were the far lesser-known Rose Byrne and Rosario Dawson, two actresses stuck in love-interest purgatory. Meanwhile, Emily Blunt has established herself as one of the most charming actresses working today, but ranks lower than Megan Fox, who -- according to her Q score -- is one of the most recognizable actresses on the planet. The same can't be said for Shailene Woodley, who scored nearly 60 points lower than Fox on recognizability but a whole six points higher than her in overall Q score. (It pays to eat clay, we guess.)
As far as Lawrence goes, the 23-year-old has the ability to topline a major summer tentpole in addition to her serious acting chops and awards credentials, which is why she's unanimously been declared the savior of Hollywood, a town perpetually starved for their next great movie star. With X-Men: Days of Future Past killing it at the box office, and Mockingjay out later this year, it's pretty clear that J Lawr is it.
