Malia Obama’s Prom Date Is “Classified Information,” Her Dad Jokes

Here's something most dads will wish they had access to on their little girl's prom night: a team of Secret Service agents ready to bust ass should there be any wandering hands during those slow dances.

Beyond that, President Obama seemed a little flummoxed at the prospect of his "lovely and beautiful" 15-year-old daughter Malia attending her first prom.

"Malia did have her first prom," he revealed during an appearance on Live! With Kelly and Michael. "I think it’s fair to say that the first time you see your daughter in heels is a little bit jarring."

Alas, the President didn't elaborate on what else the teen wore on her big night. A little Oscar de la Renta? Something from Marchesa, perhaps?

He also refused to share details about the lucky fellow who got to be Malia's date — after a very thorough background check, no doubt.

"I think this is all classified information,” he told Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan, but added that he was "not that intimidating." Right.

So, now that Malia's attended the real prom, will she get to go to Nerd Prom next? That's where the real magic happens. (Business Insider)
