This week, Jimmy Fallon teased us with an Instagram of two drum sets. Even if we had known what was in store for Thursday's show, nothing could have emotionally prepared us for the beautiful union that was Will Ferrell and Chad Smith. That's right: the legendary Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer. It all started in February, when Ferrell told readers in a Reddit AMA that he and Smith were actually the same person. Of course, Smith was having none of this. The only real way to settle this feud? A drum-off. At the end, viewers got a special surprise from the rest of the '90s band, who played the Blue Oyster Cult classic that catapulted the cowbell into fame.
