Much like Brian Littrell of the Backstreet Boys, Michelle Williams became a gospel singer after Destiny's Child disbanded. However, her solo career hasn't reached the heights that Beyoncé's and Kelly Rowland's have. But, that's about to change — maybe.
Williams brought Destiny's Child together for a single off her forthcoming album Journey To Freedom. Bey and Kelly, as well as Solange, are all featured on "Say Yes." It's not your typical palms-to-the-sky worship track, unless you consider a "Grown Woman"-meets-"Hot, Hot, Hot" beat worship. (Though, come to think of it, a bunch of these Christian artists were pretty unconventional in their approach to the genre.) All that said, Williams — the subject of many a meme — owns the spotlight here.
It might not be the Destiny's Child reunion we were promised last year, but hey, bey-ggars can't be choosers. (Just Jared)
