Does Kesha’s BBMA Appearance Mark The Dawning Of A New Era?

Kesha didn't name her sophomore album Warrior for nothin'. With her rehab stint two months behind her, she's been gradually stepping back into the spotlight, most notably at this Sunday's Billboard Music Awards.
Kesha's once glitter-stained style has gotten a glam revamp — she walked the carpet in a black and tulle Ines Di Santo gown. She's also marked the transformation by dropping the dollar sign from her name.
After finishing her stay in rehab for an eating disorder, Kesha announced she's been working on new music. She recently Instagrammed a shot of guitars in a studio, which suggests the girl's sticking to her word. Excluding Pitbull's "Timber," it's been nearly two years since Kesha's released any new material. Her Animals have proven to be patient folk, too. And, though news broke over the weekend that she'll be a judge on ABC's new singing-competition show Rising Star, we're hoping the BBMA appearance marks the beginning of a fresh, new musical era for the pop star.
