When Theon Greyjoy, played by Alfie Allen, returns to the Iron Islands after many years, he meets a woman who turns out to be his sister. He only finds that out, however, after he cops a feel on her.
That scene might've been even more unsettling than it was, had HBO successfully cast Lily Allen, Alfie's actual sister, to play Yara Greyjoy. In a Reddit AMA yesterday, the singer explained that she turned down the role once she learned that she would have to get a little intimate with her younger brother. "...I felt uncomfortable because I would have had to go on a horse and he would have touched me up and shit," Allen wrote. "Once they told me what was entailed, I said no thanks."
That doesn't mean she would turn down another part on the series. "I would be open to doing a musical cameo like Sigur Rós, though," she said.
