Eva Chen Shuts Down Lucky Rumors

Last night, Page Six reported whisperings about the end of Lucky magazine. Even though it's at this point unsubstantiated, parent group Condé Nast has responded to the accusation quite seriously, with WWD (a Conde Nast publication itself) reporting on Lucky editor-in-chief Eva Chen personally addressing the gossip in an e-mail to her staff. In response to the supposed end of Lucky, WWD reported that Chen wrote, "This is all due to YOUR amazing work and the visibility, passion, and life you have all breathed into this magazine. So, keep up the great work — and just know that haters are going to hate." The final phrase about haters linked to P.Diddy's "Bad Boys For Life," which was a nice touch (and perfectly in line with one of the youngest and "with-it" contemporary fashion editors in chief). Here's to more Youtube links in work emails. (WWD)
