Photo: REX USA. We'll admit it: We have a thing for people-watching at the airport. When you're juggling an overstuffed carry-on and wearing yoga pants, a Snuggie that matches your Spa Socks, and sunglasses so oversized we can't see your eyebrows, we may notice you. But, if you seem to glide through security in an ensemble so effortless and cool that you make us wonder why you didn't save it for your final destination, be warned: We'll probably be looking you up and down, too. After all, it's no easy feat to pull it all together while commuting. But, Suki Waterhouse makes it look like it is.
Seen at the Heathrow Airport, the British model has pretty much inspired all of our summer-travel ensembles. Creating a loose version of a Canadian tuxedo — denim shorts and a co-ordinating two-tone jacket — Waterhouse mastered the mix of comfortable, tailored, and practical. Her fresh, white kicks will come in handy for running to the gate. That oversized jacket will convert into a blanket should the plane temps dip. And, her hat...well, it's adorable and would have gotten squished in her (very large) Tumi suitcase. It looks much better perched on her head, able to conceal any messy, I-woke-up-like-this-and-headed-for-the-airport hairdos. Listen, we can't say we don't enjoy seeing Suki on the runway, the red carpet, or bringing back childhood trends, but if she only dressed for the airport from now on, we wouldn't complain.
