Buzz that Taylor Swift is slated to join the cast for the fourth season is getting louder, and a source close to the duo told Yahoo! that a cameo from the "I Knew You Were Trouble" singer is in the pipeline.
Multiple reports say that "Lena's been trying to persuade Taylor to appear in Girls for ages." The source added that Cara Delevingne's name has also been pitched to Dunham. Since Taylor Swift has successfully transformed into Karlie Kloss, the only way to go now is to transform into Delevingne, her new BFF of the moment, right? Right. And, that begins with following Delevingne's footsteps from model to actress. (Swift has obviously covered the whole pop star thing.)
Possible roles for Taylor Swift include:
- Marnie's personal assistant slash hired best friend.
- A foil to Shoshanna's roller coaster of a love life.
- Elijah's new friend that gleefully refers to him as her "G.B.F."
- The only resident in Adam's abandoned wood apartment.
- The ghost of Hannah's failed relationship past, helping her write off her exes instead of ignoring them.
