Before she was a reality star, an Oprah Winfrey disciple, and a tabloid mainstay, Lindsay Lohan was an actress. Unfortunately, her most recent performances — The Canyons, Liz & Dick, Anger Management, and Scary Movie 5 — didn't go so well. LiLo's latest attempt to reclaim her once promising career aired last night on the hit CBS sitcom 2 Broke Girls.
Lohan played a spoiled New York City bridezilla named Claire, who asks Max (Kat Dennings) and Caroline (Beth Behrs) to bake her wedding cake. The role wasn't exactly a stretch for Lohan, who's had her fair share of experience navigating NYC's most elite social circuits. Still, the 27-year-old managed to hold her own opposite her two costars, which is a good sign moving forward. When rumors surfaced that Lohan was her usual difficult self on set, Dennings and Behrs came to her defense, tweeting that it was "total b-s" and that the actress came prepared and was professional and delightful throughout the shoot — another good sign. Hopefully LiLo's continued progress might convince a director to give the actress an opportunity to really show us what she can do. Lord knows she has the talent.
