With over 20 years in the fashion industry, Cynthia Rowley is a true style veteran who is known for lovely, feminine confections that celebrate the female form. Now, Rowley is moving into the lifestyle space: The designer has two New York locations of her CuRious Candy store — and, just recently, Rowley has debuted a capsule makeup collection exclusively with Birchbox.
Inspired by the shades in the designer's spring '14 collection, the lineup features an eyeshadow palette, moisturizing lip stains, and super-pigmented pencil liners, as well as the liquid eyeliner that Rowley debuted with Birchbox last year. Says the designer of the collection: "Every day should be a celebration, and my collection reflects that with the incorporation of fun and festive new colors such as valentine, cotton candy, and sugar.”
Thankfully, Rowley's newest wares are anything but saccharine. These are super-on-trend, grown-up colors that are perfect for the season. We can't wait to sport the violet lip stain, and try the black and sky blue eyeliners together — all the better to complement our spring whites, right?
