To say last season of Orange Is The New Black ended abruptly is an understatement. It's been months and months since the final scene of season one of the Netflix series, but somehow we're still on the edge of our seats. And, this suspense has only been made more difficult to bear because we've been chatting with the stars, but not able to get all the deets on what comes next for Piper and co.
Case in point? Friday night's screening at PaleyFest in Los Angeles. All of the girls came out for the panel and ditched the prison garb for cocktail dresses. What should you expect from next season? More risk-taking scenes from the powerhouse female cast. And, perhaps most exciting, a new inmate. Lorraine Toussaint will be playing Vee, a confident, incarcerated drug kingpin. Still, the cast remained tight-lipped about many specifics of the upcoming second season.
Instead of ruminating on ominous potential plotlines, we were instead
forced happy to focus on how killer the ladies looked walking the red carpet. Ahead, a slideshow of the well-clad crew — it will just have to tide you over until season two finally premiers on Netflix on June 6. Until then, it's just sparkly dresses, heels, and a whole lot of educated guesses.
