We know you can probably make a mean margarita at home on a Friday night. Respect. But, on most weekends, we prefer to hit up our favorite bars for those libations. As a result, we've got a few tried-and-true places that we visit on the regular. And, even though we're so loyal to these establishments that we tell our out-of-town friends we've got the best bartenders in the country, a new list from The Daily Meal confirms it.
Jack McGarry from The Dead Rabbit topped the list. It's no surprise, really — he's created a menu of drinks that hail from the 17th, 18th, and 19th centuries. Plus, he's got a heap of awards to back it all up. Rounding out the top 15 are fellow New Yorkers Ivy Mix of Clover Club in Brooklyn, Leo Robitschek of The NoMad Hotel, and Eryn Reece of Death & Company on the list. Head over to The Dead Rabbit, so you can say you got a drink from the best bartender in the country. Bragging rights for days. (The Daily Meal)
