The rumor mill's been churning out some serious stories about a third installment of the SATC franchise. And, these rumors are rooted in real quotes from the likes of executive producer Michael Patrick King. He discussed the possibility with Entertainment Weekly just a couple of weeks ago: "Sarah Jessica and I both know what the final chapter is. That doesn't mean it will or should be told, but I do think there's one story left." Any die-hard fan would cling to that kind of information.

But, slow down there, ladies and gents. 'Cuz Sarah Jessica Parker told Ellen yesterday that we all just need to accept the fact that SATC 3 is not happening. "I've tried to make up some interesting answers every time I've been asked this question lately. And, the truth of the matter is there has been no real conversation about a third movie at all."
We have to say, we're not totally heartbroken to hear this news. Sure, we have great memories of our time with the Carrie, Charlotte, Miranda, and Samantha. But, we think it's best to leave things as they are. If it ain't broke, etc. Besides, SJP is too busy designing glorious, glorious shoes to focus on a film. (Grazia)
