Yesterday, Vanity Fair transformed a normally barren parking lot on Sunset Boulevard into the most star-studded barren parking lot of all time.
It was the site of the magazine's annual post-Oscars bash, which is far and away the most exclusive event of any awards season. So, if you're not incredibly famous or incredibly rich, good luck getting in. Knowing we'd most likely be watching from afar, the venerated mag did its best to keep us abreast of the night's proceedings via social media.
The extensive coverage of the soiree included a custom-built studio where many of the boldfaced names had their portraits taken by VF contributing photographer Mark Seliger.
"We're aiming to capture a little of the glamour of Oscar night in a timeless yet modern and accessible way," Seliger said about the project.
