When deciding how to give Guilty a fresh look for spring, Gucci creative director Frida Gianinni turned to one of her biggest inspirations — rock 'n' roll. According to brand representatives, Gianinni associates sexiness with two things: badass rocker clothing and patchouli-based fragrances. So, the designer decided to update her patchouli-packed star in a gorgeous rose-gold studded bottle for a fragrance experience that truly captures the essence of Gucci style.
Both the fragrance and the bottle have a '70s disco-era-gone-modern vibe — they're certainly both flashy and totally worthy of a major night out. (Sadly, this fragrance would definitely feel out of place at a 9 a.m. meeting at the office. Unless, of course, you work at Gucci.) But, since the juice is an eau de toilette, you needn't fear that you will send the entire dance floor gasping for air. This is a sexy fragrance that encourages admirers to lean in for a better whiff — exactly what we want in an evening scent, right?
The men's EDT also got a studded facelift, which complements the masculine mix of patchouli and lavender. (Fun fact from Team Gucci: Lavender has been considered the perfect masculine scent for centuries, thanks to it being a popular aftershave treatment at barbershops in 19th-century Italy.) The men's scent is also gorgeous and perfect for ladies who prefer a more unisex scent. So, if you're the kind of girl who opts for a studded leather jacket to floral sundresses when the spring breezes start blowing, you'll want to snap these up — and fast. They're here for a limited time only.
