Parks & Rec Just Nabbed A Seriously Major Guest Star

Parks and Recreation has had an impressive track record for netting big names from the world of politics. Former and current Senators John McCain, Olympia Snowe, Barbara Boxer, and a former Speaker of the House have shared the screen with Leslie Knope for one reason or another. Last season, of course, saw Amy Poehler's character completely lose it after running into her number-one crush, the smoldering Vice President Joe Biden. But, this year, the little show that could has truly outdone itself.
None other than First Lady Michelle Obama will be visiting Pawnee for the Parks and Rec season finale on April 24. Granted, she's not the most powerful person to appear on the show — the Veep still holds that title. But, in terms of sheer Washington wattage, she comes second only to her husband (and sometimes not even to him).
If the show stays true to its formula, Obama probably won't be on screen for more than a few seconds. Then again, she's proven herself quite the entertainer of late. It's really hard to guess how much FLOTUS we're going to get. But, we do know this: If she needs it, she'll have excellent protection courtesy of Burt Macklin, FBI. (Vulture)
