Photo: Picture Perfect/REX USA.So long, Mila Kunis. Amanda Seyfried will take over as the female lead in Ted 2, the sequel to 2012's box-office hit. According to Deadline, if Kunis appears at all, it would only be in a small role.
But fret not, Kunis fans — there wasn't any drama here. Apparently, the shift wasn't "anything other than a creative decision that MacFarlane decided to take with the plotting of the sequel."
Mark Wahlberg, however, will be reprising his lead role, as will Seth MacFarlane, who voiced the character of Ted in addition to directing the original. Though nothing has been revealed about Seyfried's character, she could either split up Kunis and Marky Mark's characters, who got married at the end of the first film, or she'll play Ted's love interest.
