Angelina Jolie Has An Amazing New Man In Her Life

A new man has stolen Angelina Jolie's heart. He's an Olympic athlete and a veteran. He shares her love of flying. She lets him call her "honey" and "my gal." Oh, and he happens to be 97.
Jolie's "new love" is Louis Zamperini, an Olympic distance runner and a World War II pilot who survived 47 days of clinging to a life raft in the Pacific Ocean before becoming a Japanese POW. He's also the inspiration for Jolie's third directorial effort, Unbroken. Zamperini sat down with her and Tom Brokaw for a Today Show interview about turning his life story into a film.
Calling Unbroken — based on Laura Hillenbrand's book of the same name — "the hardest thing I've ever done," Jolie says Zamperini's survival is an example of how the "resilience and the strength of the human spirit is such an extraordinary thing." The inspiring vet happens to be Angie's neighbor, too. We wonder if they'll make a date of it when the movie hits theaters later this year. Sorry, Brad, this guy's a keeper. (PopSugar)
