About the last place we'd expect Lena Dunham to finally address her feud with Jezebel would be on sports giant ESPN. But, that's exactly where it happened. Well, kind of.
Dunham appeared on noted sports fanatic Bill Simmons' podcast today, which is part of The Grantland Network, under the ESPN umbrella. Their hour-long conversation ran the gamut from obscure movie posters to her boyfriend's teenage relationship with Scarlett Johansson. We knew it was only a matter of time before Simmons brought up the Jezebel controversy, which emerged when the feminist blog offered $10,000 to anyone who could reproduce un-retouched images from Dunham's Vogue February 2014 cover shoot.

"That was messed up," she said. "I think Jezebel is really smart and funny. I think it's just like once you've been attacked that way it's hard to enjoy. It's hard to enjoy once you feel like they've made such a monumental error in their approach to feminism."
At the time, Dunham tweeted that some things were "too ridiculous to engage," but the 27-year-old has clearly had a change of heart. “It felt gross,” Dunham admitted. “I didn’t talk to the woman who did it directly, but I can’t imagine the reaction made her feel particularly great."
On the other hand, she copped to having nothing but love for Vogue, particularly the way she was treated by the magazine. "I felt completely respected by Vogue. I felt like, 'Thank you for removing the one line from my face, because I’m 27 years old and shouldn’t have that there.'"
