To say Cara Delevingne marches to the beat of her own drum would be a mass understatement. In fact, part of why she's so rad is because she's practically leading her own one-woman band. Sometimes, that means selfies on the runway. And, other times, this.

Arriving at the Elle Style Awards this evening, Delevingne came dressed in a beautiful, black vintage gown. It's ethereal, sexy, brimming with a bit of dark glamour, but Cara wouldn't just leave it at that. The model who's been killing it on the runways of London Fashion Week seriously amped up the edge. Instead of purely cascading waves, she opted for an asymmetric side braid. Her plunging V-neck and dress slit practically met at her middle. And, at the back of the gown proved to be the most delightful accessory of all. Click over to see what she's packing.

While not exactly the most atypical handbag choice for Cara, this black Mulberry backpack is certainly an unexpected one considering the Brit's elegant ensemble. (Although, not all that unexpected. She did just launch a collection with the brand.) But, we're not complaining. After all, when was the last time you spotted a mini rucksack on the red carpet looking quite as chic as this?
