Not only did film producer Matt Rutler take the singer on a tropical vacay to celebrate the holiday, but he straight-up proposed. Aguilera tweeted out the happy news on Friday night, saying "He asked and I said..." The tweet was accompanied by an adorable picture of the happy couple holding hands. And, of course, Aguilera is rocking a huge sparkler.
People broke the news, and a source close to the couple told the mag, "They're very much in love and are really excited to take this next step!" The two have been dating for over three years, with Rutler even stepping in to help out Aguilera's son Max. There's no word yet on when or where the betrothed couple will seal the deal, but knowing Aguilera, it will probably be fabulously over the top. After all, how can you outdo a Valentine's Day proposal? (People)
