We've never considered complementary style to be a relationship maker or breaker, but we're sure it can't hurt that these two are always on the same page. Their appearance at LAX yesterday was no exception.
While we've always been fascinated with sleek travel style that puts sweats to shame, here's an example of when it's even better in pairs. Both parties opted for dressed-up denim: Kate in a cropped, skinny jean relied on a fuzzy, pastel topper to make a statement in her otherwise-simple ensemble, while Michael layered denim on denim for a cool Canadian tuxedo. And, to tie it all together: a pair of matching aviator frames — Kate in the Piedra style by Oliver Peoples WEST. Because, the couple that matches sunglasses together, stays together. Or something.
Sure, we may not find every coordinating couple to be so noteworthy, but we think these crazy kids are going somewhere. And, um, no we don't just mean the airport.
