When someone says, "Nice lipstick," you can tell pretty quickly if they mean it or if they're actually just making fun of you. Unfortunately, we're all too familiar with the snide undertones of a fake compliment. We're not sure what it is about vibrant makeup that people feel free to mock, but it's a thing. So, we were really excited to watch this video on xoVain that answers the question, "How can I handle rude comments about my makeup?"
Alle, the beauty editor hosting the video, is a makeup girl after our own hearts. We can't think of a better glamazon to address this issue. With bright-pink lipstick and the perfect cat-eye, her "I don't care what you think of me" vibe is very refreshing. Her advice is great, too, and we love how specific she gets with what to say and how to say it. Where was this when we were teenagers?
