Oprah & Kim Kardashian Serenade Jay Leno On His Last-Ever Tonight Show

Saying good-bye to an old friend is never easy. A teary Sandra Bullock may have given outgoing Tonight Show host Jay Leno his most heartfelt farewell, but Kim Kardashian, Oprah Winfrey, and a few more all-star pals were determined to give him the most entertaining (and kind of crazy) tribute. And, it seems we finally have an answer to the question, "What do you give the man who has everything?" That would be the gift of song, of course.
Billy Crystal, who also happened to be Leno's first guest when he made his late-night debut in 1992, returned to give the comedian a send-off for the ages. One by one, Jack Black, Sheryl Crow, NBA-star Chris Paul, Jim Parsons, Carol Burnett, Kardashian, and Winfrey appeared on stage to each sing a line from their twisted rendition of "So Long, Farewell" from The Sound of Music. The von Trapps they're not, but we enjoyed it all the same.
While Winfrey may have had the best line with "So long, farewell, you really raised the bar. If you were me, you’d buy them all a car," Kardashian gets props for crooning about no longer being "the butt of Leno's jokes." The harshest line is a toss-up between Black's "when Fallon tanks, you’ll be back here next year" and Crow's "So long, farewell, I give a little wave, but not for Jay — I want to get on Dave.” No hard feelings?
Surely this retirement has to stick. After all, how is Leno going to top this good-bye (again)? (BuzzFeed)
